Random list/thoughts #6.

» It's so fun when SNL has their surprise cameos - tonight there was Alec Baldwin, Mark Wahlberg, Sarah Palin & Oliver Stone.

» Speaking of SNL, Kristen Wiig is the new Molly Shannon.

» I had no idea that Josh Brolin was in The Goonies (he was Mikey's older brother).

» Iron Man is a really good movie. I doubted it, thinking it would be a typical blockbuster superhero action movie. Ok, yea it actually did but it was one that I really enjoyed watching.

» I wish I did something tonight. My saturdays are usually spent doing school work because I have a LOT. But, tonight I felt like going out. Like go to the movies, go bowling, even karaoke. BOO -_-.

» I skipped art class friday, something I was trying to avoid but I wasn't really in the mood to paint and have my professor walk around like a hawk eyeing everyones work.

» Did you know there's a cat show in Madison Square Garden? HAHAHA.

» I need Halloween plans. Its either the Stony people plan something or I'll find people to go to the parade with or I'll just watch horror movies with a bowl of candy nearby. Hopefully, it won't be the last one.

» I am so MAD at my appetite. For some reason, its increased in the past week and I don't know why. Perhaps its the stress level from school. Or I'm going through the 'mones (hormones hehe). If that's the cases, then I'll just stock the fridge with the good stuff because if its got the crappy stuff I'm gonna end up eating it >_<'.

» He's a great distraction ^_^.

BTW, new Macbooks!

Cause Knowledge is Power!

You never realize how important it is to be educated. It really is the backbone of society. Its kinda odd really. That it fuels us to be understanding of everything in life and bring about change and resolution but at the same time it gives us the power to be destructive and murderous (when used in said way). And no matter where you go, education is education. Yea, it can be higher in some places but you're still learning right? Upon arriving BMCC for the first time, all that ran through my head was "GOSH COMMUNITY COLLEGE". I've hit the bottom of the barrel of colleges. It was like a slap to the face being pegged down from state university to a city community college. But after the first semester, I came to realize its the same sh*t. Different title, yes. Taught differently, yes. Different professors, yes. Different location, yes. But still the same subjects, the same material. That was fuel for me. I didn't feel so left out anymore. No more sore-thumbness feelings.

And, I'll be honest here. After coming to BMCC, I've really, really enjoyed learning. I think I've become a nerd. Like all the anatomy & physiology stuff. OMG AMAZING. I can't believe I took the subject for granted. It may be hard and tedious but its quite fascinating. Even chemistry, I had a peaked interest for but shhh don't go spreading that tidbit around -_O.

Random list/thoughts #5.

» I'm having serious lip withdrawals. J'ai besoin des bisous.

» I dislike academia decisions. As well as uncertainty for the future. I can't decide what to do. Scholarships, honor societies, transfers, B minus' and deadlines. What....to....do?

» Its quite odd that Mr. Softee is still driving around the neighborhood....and it's October. He's probably selling smack to the little kiddies [JK ^_^].

» I was afraid of getting a new kitten because I end up becoming emotionally attached to any pet that comes into my life. And, they all don't last long with us (either death or return). Like when I was 9 (or 10?) we had this adorable chocolate lab puppy Reeses and we had to return him the next day because our old place was too small for him. Then there were the occassional fish that came and went (I think a total of 10 in the past decade). We also had 3 turtles - one which died and the other 2 which were returned. And then there was Munchie, who unfortunately died. I'm afraid of what will happen to Ollie. If anything I'll just have to take charge (as usual) because no one in the family bothers to research on how to properly take care of animals. All I know is that I do not want Munchie the sequel where I become depressed for a week.

» I am becoming more appreciative of classical music especially cello suites. My favorite is Bach's V. Movement from Suite No. 3. I thank BBT for filling my iTunes library with la musique classique.

» Praise be that wednesday & thursday are free days. CHA-CHING.

» I need to practice wearing heels. I wore those Chanel-esque heels I mentioned before and I had the hugest blister that burst and bled all over my heel and the balls of my feet were S-O-R-E.

» LMAO @ McCain.

He has to quit it with that "follow-up" stuff....

Chest pains.

You think you're all high and mighty. That you KNOW who I am. That you can just say what you say about me and have this superiority over me. But, no sir. No. You're just a little boy. A little boy who has no idea what you're talking about. Who goes off branding people from what you just see on the surface. You don't know what's going on underneath. You're too busy to even see yourself. To see how you really are and that its because of you that people act like that. You say I'm irrational??? What's irrational is that mouth of yours. I should know better. I should completely ignore it. I should have this face just so you can have your ice cream and be happy without raising up your temper. Its hard. To completely ignore it. Its hard to live in this dark space where I can't be free. I can never be liberated by your irrationality and your stupidity and your overly high testosterone and your super ego. I pity you. For not expanding your mind and being in the other persons shoes. This is why I distance myself from you. Because even if all is "well" between is, you still have to have your ego and be "the shit" as you put it. Yeah, you are the shit. You're shit on the floor. Something I walk around and just walk away from.

My motivation: study the hell out of myself, graduate, save up and get the hell out of here.

Crap, I hate getting like this. Its hard for me to concentrate and I have to finish reading for ANP (fucking quiz on friday).

AHHHHHH!

F-R-I-E-N-D-S spells life.

The SB campus and university itself do not interest me anymore. It's the people there that I care about the most. I forgot how much fun sleepovers are. And how entertaining randomosity and giddiness are when there's more of you ^_^.

I had a humdrum PA weekend consisting of my father bbq-ing steak and watching the occasional rentals (In Bruges, The Other Boleyn Girl, & The Heartbreak Kid - I only liked In Bruges because I like Martin McDonagh). But, it was amusing to see Ollie have a wider range of play because of the big house.

Oh and I'm somewhat upset with the rejection of the bailout bill as well as losing all faith with human kind. On another odd & delightful note, my vintage 80's wingtip oxford boots came in the mail.

B's bed is comfy.

Rockin' the granny style.
