+ [Fall>Summer] I think I prefer that warm, chilliness that fall brings rather than the stagnant heat that summer has. Dressing for fall is much more preferable as well as less revealing for those self-conscious *ahem*.

+ [Zenith+Nadir] I just like how these words...are. The spelling, the pronunciation, that they're opposites. I forgot where I heard them but I'm just STUCK on them.

+ [Sloane Crosley] "We see the world as we are. So if it's the same brain we bring with us every time we open our eyes, what's the difference if we're looking at an island cove or a pocket watch?"

+ [Realism vs. Pessimism] Can both be mistaken for the other? Maybe there's a thin line between the two. A person may be realistic about a situation but to another may seem pessimistic. But then what if realism is mistaken for defeatism? Accepting the truth & giving up on what was believed to be true. Perhaps it depends on the situation.

+ [Countdown] T-minus 20 days.

Dear diary, I'm afraid I'm gravely ill. It is perhaps times like these that one reflects on things past.

An article of clothing from when I was young.
A green jacket.
I walk with my father.
A game we once played. Pretend we're fairies.

I'm a girl fairy. My name is Laura Lee. And you're a boy fairy. Your name is Tita Lee. Pretend, when we're fairies we fight each other, and I say "Stop hitting me I'll die!" And you hit me again and I say, "Now I have to die." And then you say, "But I'll miss you." And I say, "But I have to. And you'll have to wait a million years to see me again. And I'll be put in a box, and all I'll need is a tiny glass of water and lots of tiny pieces of pizza and the box will have wings like an airplane."

Random #26

+ I definitely want to do restaurant week next year. 3 course lunch ($25) & dinner ($35) at selected restaurants in NYC. The Carlyle Restaurant's lunch menu looks yummy.

+Out of sheer boredom, I watched I Love You, Beth Cooper (the non-traditional way) and was reminded by one of the characters of a friend of mine. The similarities are uncanny. Down from the appearance to his film obsession. The never-ending mention of films & directors & quoting left from right is quite like him. I am smitten by Jack Carpenter.

+ Forgive me if I cherish my independence and having my alone time. I choose to be this way because I get overwhelmed if I progressively see others. Call me selfish but that's how I function. I do like being with others...I'm not anti-social. I enjoy going out and having fun. Just not every single freaking day. Plus................I'm lazy :P

+ I love when I watch a movie with actors I'm not familiar with and then find out later that they came from outside the states. It amazes me how credible their American accents are.

+It's all coming together now with LICH. Got my id card, all credits transferred over, scheduled a BCLS class, have last minute immunizations to get & uniform shopping. I'm so excited. A fellow friend taking a program in Stony has already learned how to dress a deep wound & work with a PEG tube & trach care. It really is fascinating. I can't wait to get my hands dirty.

+ Can't get enough of this girl.

Poke-a-nose

This pretty much sums up my week & ½ in PA.
