Ah...to be serenaded by the classics.

In my depressive state, my mind wanders through all that is faulty and shameful while touching on sadness and absence. The anger sometimes popping up here and there which eventually leads back to the sadness. Why? Why does the past catch up with me in my somber mood? Why do I feel like I'm missing out? There are times when I'm happy with myself and my life but then I just have these sporadic moments where I question what the hell is wrong with me....what am I doing wrong. It gets to a point where I'm withdrawing myself from the outside while binging on anything I can get my mouth around. Its sickening and it rotates in a sadistic circle. My withdrawals have driven away those I once had solace with. Even the one person I can open my soul to somehow has drifted away as well...
I cant believe how far I've let it go. All I do at this point is just rely on my independence. I think that with my stupid yet small pride is what makes me choose to be alone....so I really can't complain.
My remedy then is to lose myself in fictional stories in the form of a Stephanie Meyer novel and various teen drama series' and a few indie flicks. That's all I ever do anyway. Story of my pathetic life.

Random list/thoughts #8.
» After today's ANP midterm & writing's in-class essay, the next 2 days will be total BS. SWEET.
» 2 more days till I get to stuff myself silly with turkey and get lazy with relatives. I plan on preparing potato gratin, lemon fussili with arugula, ricotta cheesecake, turkey lasagna & crème brûlée.
» I gave in and hopped on the bagwagon. I started reading Twilight and I must say I like it a lot, mostly for its sensuality and yes, Edward Cullen is quite the character. Once I finish, I plan on seeing the film out of curiosity. Plus, Kristen Stewart's and Robert Pattinson's gorgeousness are another incentive.
» I'm in love with HUMMUS! And since my parents got a food processor via American Express Rewards, I was able to make some. MMMMM yummy.
»I don't understand people who don't put in the extra effort when it comes to handling tasks. If you know that you need to get something done, you get it done and if you hit a wall, find another way around it.
» “Life is like Tango...sad, sensual, sexy, violent and quiet.”
» 2 words: Marc Jacobs :D
» Somone's gotta do something about those Somalian pirates.

Rush Rush Rush.
It's somewhat unbelievable that Thanksgiving is next week and after that there's only 2 weeks left of the semester. I'm knee deep in last minute midterms, papers and not to mention 3 paintings, which reminds me I need to make a trip to the MET and MoMa and also replenish my stock of yellow paint. Oh, the life of a student....

Lazy Wednesday.
"You may not feel like doing much but
cuddling now, and that’s OK. These cuddle
days are a natural part of everyone’s
monthly routine. A dear companion and
comfort food are suggested."
This is my horoscope for today, which I found suitable since I decided to stay home today. And although I didn't have comfort food, I did have a dear companion in the shape of a black furry kitten who cuddled with me whilst watching "A Knight's Tale".

INSOMNIA.
I haven't been up this late in awhile. Before it was because I was IMing someone, I was too enthralled with something or my mind was too preoccupied.
Its currently the latter......

Those Little Moments.
3:05 PM Following behind her as she walks away, he slightly tilts his umbrella up so as to coax the hem of her dress. He mumbles 'Come here.' with a charming grin. Surprised and feeling somewhat flattered, she turns back towards him returning the grin as he leans towards her presenting his right cheek. She places a soft kiss on it, almost touching the corner of his lips. If only he moved a couple of inches. Before she knows it, he's walking away waving her adieu. She utters a goodbye and stares at him for a few moments. Realizing her surroundings, she begins to stroll away. She smiles to herself and touches her cheeks feeling slightly warmer than before.....
Something was brought to my attention earlier that I didn't think possible but may reconsider. It was one of those things I just HAD to write about.
Its nice to feel these things ^_^.

» Realizing reality raises rambunctious ranting.
» There's a reason why I prefer to have women professors rather than men. I get smitten by the men. 85% of the time I can't help but be attracted to them. Its so bad! My art professor, as I mentioned before, is very shy and timid but once you get to know him, he has this side that's surprisingly flirtatious.
» Besides my art professor, I've developed an interest for Gabriel Byrne after watching Stigmata. I have noticed him before when I saw Man in The Iron Mask and The Usual Suspects but I'm seeing him in a whole new light now. Plus, I find him somewhat attractive as well -_O.
» PUMPKIN SEGREGATION FOREVER!
» Sad to say, my Halloween consisted of me with just a handful of candy, take-out and what cable considered scary movies. I watched Constantine (which I liked and don't hate Keanu Reeves for), House on Haunted Hill (which SUCKED) and Ghost Ship (which was lame as well but had its perks due to Gabriel Byrnes presence).
» I'm starting to see the true colors of a certain person I was getting along with at the beginning of the semester. He has the nerve to correct me on everything I say and in addition put down how my english skills do not compensate with learning another language. He's such a.....TOSSPOT! (Its the first thing that popped into my head). What do you call me getting higher grades than you HUH?!
» Getting to my materialistic side, I've been eyeing this Nixon watch. Part bracelet, part watch. And a POP of color (c'est jaune).
» And on a final note, there's one thing making me itch even more for July 2009 to approach nearer (this is a different version). The last few seconds are hilarious!
