Damn, damn, damn.

I HATE this. Its like I'm soooo close & I almost have it but then something as small as an English class is holding me back. The 2 classes (anatomy & physiology and intro to psych) I'm currently taking now are the last 2 I need for BMCC's nursing program (I've already taken the other 2- math & english). Now, before I can even get into their program I need to change my major from Liberal Arts (which I'm currently under) to Pre-Clinical Nursing. And, then they'll evaluate my grades and I can begin taking clinical classes. I talked to the head of the nursing department & he told me that they'll only accept A's and I have a B- for the english class I took at Stonybrook. Fine, I can deal with that. I'll take it over. I would've taken it over for the 2nd summer session, but they don't offer it. Ok, so I'll take it in the fall. But, they don't even have it for the fall semester! I don't why....maybe its filled up. I really don't know. And, I can't afford wasting semesters that are keeping me from getting into the program. If I have to take english NEXT year, it means I won't be taking nursing classes till...spring of 2010! Because when they evaluate your grades to get in the program, you have to wait out a semester of taking classes labeled NUR (the actual clinical classes). I can still take non NUR classes that are within the clinical sequence, however. Its just theres only 2 non NUR classes out of the entire program.

ITS F*CKING RIDICULOUS. I mean, I have an A in math and I know I'll be getting the A's for both intro psych and for ANP. But, english?! Can't they just consider my A's in my other subjects that actually count for being a nursing student????? I'm sooo stressed out over this. I'm thinking I'll just go ahead and risk my B- because honestly thats my only option. I don't know what I'll do. Its been bothering me for the past 2 days and I'm afraid I'm gonna get phased out and end up screwing up my finals.

I'm tearing here and there. Never in my life have I've been so sure that I'm actually accomplishing something and it comes to a screeching halt when I least suspect it. I'm gonna try and just focus on studying. Ugh....
