Random #16.
Where to start? Visual effects were AMAZING - like food for your eyes. Synder stuck to the graphic novel (but tweaked it here & there including optional squid -_-). Jackie Earle Haley pulled off Rorscarch SO WELL. After seeing him in Little Children & then seeing him in this role, I have nothing but love for this man. I can see why many people who didn't read the novel disapproved of it (I heard a few "Why didn't they kill the bad guy?" from some). But I think even without reading it, the story would still make sense and be good. That's my opinion anyway...Relating to IMAX, I absolutely jizzed my pants when the HP & the Half-Blood Prince trailer turned up!
Survived week 1 of ANP tutoring. Honestly, the whole time I was thinking I'm not going to remember anything. The student's going to complain. I'm going to get fired. HAHA. Yea, I'm what you call PARANOID. But, it was ok. I have more training sessions to attend (like one this saturday). At least the pay is decent.
In relation to my current position, I think I've come to realize that possibly the reason why I can't recall certain things from a long period of time (say 1-3 months) is due to some shoddiness in my long term memory. Mmmm just an hypothesis, s'all.

I agree the Visual Effects were amazing on there own, but I felt it didn't serve the original themes of the book well. The effects were too clean cut for a movie that supposed to be nihilistic and grim. Otherwise I completely agree Jackie Earle Haley did an amazing job as Rorschach.
Anyways I got to see the movie again, same thing happened with Dark Knight and Fountain, with each subsequent viewing the film got much better.
mhmmm you start to notice a lot more when you watch it again and again. oh yea, i discovered something. in the scene where nite owl is going through ozy's computer there's a folder that says "boys" :O
lmao "Boys" wow they really wanted to emphasize Ozy's homosexuality!
